Work closely with children and their families to improve daily living skills

Qualifications:Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
Current state licensure

Creating unique, individualized treatment plans that outline the treatment goals and methods to be
usedTeaching children and their families about speech, language and communication
Qualifications:Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
A heart for working with kids and making a difference
Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders (or working toward it, SLP-A’s welcome)
Active Louisiana license (or on your way to getting it! CF’s Welcome!)
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Attention to detail, patience, and empathy
Ability to manage patients with different involvement levels

Location: 112 N. 3rd Street, Leesville, LA 71446
Job Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:Work closely with children and their families to improve daily living skills
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support each child's unique needs
Foster a positive and engaging therapy environment families about speech, language and communication
Qualifications:Associates degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
Certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
Knowledge of evidence-based practice and current research in the field
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
